We wanted to give another update on the status of the new HWDMediaShare gallery development. Over the previous year we have been developing HWDMediaShare v2, which is a major new release designed for Joomla 3. It has already been published to our subscribers as a beta release for a number of months, and we have been getting lots of feedback.

Whats the status?

HWDMediaShare v2 is currently at release candidate 9. It is being tested by the community, and at the moment isn't recommended for production use. It isn't classified as stable, but we are now aiming to publish a stable HWDMediaShare v2.0 before 15th January.

When will it be stable?

Our objective is to publish a stable HWDMediaShare v2.0 before 15th January 2015.

Let's have a look then!

There are currently 3 online demonstrations of HWDMediaShare v2:
