Using the HWDMediaShare media content plugin
The HWDMediaShare media content plugin allows you to insert media from HWDMediaShare into your Joomla articles, and any other parts of Joomla which allow content plugins.
Before you can use the plugin, you must first:
After you have installed and published the plugins, you can visit the article editor, and you should see a new media button under your editor.
Click on the Media button, and a box will appear that lists all the media items in your gallery.
From this window, you can set a number of parameters in the top right hand corner of the box. You can set:
- The width of the media in the article. Enter a integer value (in pixels).
- The alignment of the media in the article. You can choose to float the media left or right, or center the image.
- The display method of the media in the article. You can insert the media item itself, or you can insert a thumbnail instead.
After you have set your parameters, you simply need to click on the media item you want to insert into the article.
After you have clicked on the media item you want to insert, the box will automatically disappear, and the necessary code that is required to insert your media with your selected parameters will be inserted into the article.
You can then save your article, and the media will show in your site as demonstrated below.
