HWDMediaShare Permissions

HWDMediaShare Permissions allow you to control which groups in Joomla have permissions to perform actions.

After installing HWDMediaShare always check the permissions to ensure your users can access what you want them to.

The actions in the HWDMediaShare component are:

Configure
Access Administrator Interface
Create
Delete
Edit
Edit State
Edit Own
Subscribe
Like/Dislike
Report
Comment
Upload Media
Add Remote Media

Edit your permissions

From the HWDMediaShare Dashboard, go to the Configuration.

Then click on the Permissions tab.

In the following example, we allow Registered users to perform most actions such as upload, create, edit their own items, subscribe, like/dislike and report. This is the most common configuration.

Great video extension

Installed easily on Joomla 1.7 and was easy to implement. Other video extensions I tried didn't have the features found in hwdvideoshare. There is great documentation for helping with setup and hosting.
