The pre-release of hwdVideoShare-1.1.4 Alpha RC3.5 for Joomla 1.5 is completely native to Joomla 1.5. All code has been updated to run iunder the new Joomla system. You can test the pre-release component and help us debug it by downloading it from our homepage.

hwdPhotoShare is now availble as a testing pre-release for Joomla 1.0. The software is included in the new hwdMediaShare package. Download it today and help us start debuging this intial release. It contains many known and unknown bugs. There are also many features that have been intentionally left out of this release. The version for Joomla 1.5 should be released on Saturday 4th October.

You should not consider using this as a stable component for at least a month.

Please help us debug this first release by reporting your list of bugs and comments in the Highwood Design forums. You should expect a number of quick subsequent releases over the next two weeks...

Get the first sneek preview of the new hwdPhotoShare component. This long awaited extension is going to be published next week, but we have installed it onto our demonstration website for you to see.

Not all features have been enabled, and there will be some obvious bugs. However, this demo should give you an idea of what we have planned for the component.

The currently available pre-release of hwdMediaShare is classified as semi-stable and we are now requesting that users upgrade when possible. The pre-release does still contain bugs but we are ready to quickly address any problems and give support to users who upgrade and experience issues.

The pre-release is only for Joomla 1.0 websites, webmasters using Joomla 1.5 will need to wait until next week. The current package only contains the components therefore if you need modules, mambots and plugins then please also wait for the releases next week.

We look forward to hearing how upgrades have gone.

Major Breakthrough for New Release

Highwood Design is pleased that all third party videos will now be able to be viewed through the local video player, instead of the external third party player. This applies to YouTube, GoogleVideo and all the other major video websites! Wow!
