Uploading An Image

Uploading images and other media to HWDMediaShare is a simple process, aided by an Admin-friendly Media interface. Uploaded images and other media are placed in the "Media" area of the HWDMediaShare component for further management.

Uploading An Image

Begin at the HWDMediaShare Dashboard by clicking the "Add New Media" Icon.
Next, click the "Choose File" button to open a local browser window.
Now browse to an image you wish to upload, highlight it then click the "open" button.
You will now notice that the dialogue in the cell next to the "Choose File" button has changed to the file name you've selected for upload. Now click the "Upload" button.
After a brief time depending on the speed of your connection, the speed of your server and the file size, you will be presented with a success screen at the HWDMediaShare "Media" area displaying the message, "Successfully uploaded..." in a blue information bar.
Your image has been uploaded successfully to your website and may be managed at the HWDMediaShare "Media" area!

Great video extension

Installed easily on Joomla 1.7 and was easy to implement. Other video extensions I tried didn't have the features found in hwdvideoshare. There is great documentation for helping with setup and hosting.
