A brief history

This component was started after searching for open source video-share scripts for a design client. The options were limited and none seemed to offer a complete open source solution. Especially scripts which offered the capability of server-side video conversion. When we failed to find a suitable video-share extension for the Joomla CMS it was very apparent that such an extension would be incredibly popular and hopefully well received.

Where are we going with this?

hwdVideoShare is still in its infancy but we strongly believe it has great potential. We have hundreds of ideas we want to integrate into the component and will maintain development on the extension so long as it is supported by the Joomla community.

Design principles

• Simple & clean frontend design. Allowing all non-technical website users to enjoy your website.
