1. Our Subscription Plans gives you access to the hwdMediaShare Pro software downloads and forum.
2. hwdMediaShare Pro includes:
   1. hwdVideoShare
      
   2. hwdPhotoShare (currently a pre-release)
   3. hwdRevenueManager
      
   4. All modules, plugins, and third party integrations.
3. The subscription lasts for 12 months. During this time you can:
   1. Access the software
   2. Access any subsequent updates that are released whilst your subscription is active
   3. Post in the forum
4. After your subscription expires you can continue to use any software you have previously downloaded. We do not have any licensing system or encrypted files in the package. If you want to continue downloading updates you simply need to renew your subscription.

Before you subscribe you should:

1. Read our Getting Started articles for hwdVideoShare, hwdPhotoShare and hwdRevenueManager.
2. Read the Server Requirements for hwdVideoShare, hwdPhotoShare.
3. Read our Terms and Conditions, it exists to help you understand what you will get for your money.
4. Read our documentation that explains how to subscribe.

Our components are released under the GNU GPL license however, in order to fund continued quality development we charge a yearly subscription fee for access to the Professional software and support. The subscription fee helps us develop our existing extensions and fund new ideas. We see the fee as a supportive contribution that demonstrates your support for Highwood Design to release more extensions.

About the Support we Give

Download & Support Subscription Plans entitle you to forum access and responses from the hwdMediaShare support team. Depending on the topic you post, we will try to either:

• Point you to relevant documentation that will instruct you how to use hwdMediaShare features
• Offer solutions to technical problems
• Log bug reports, debug your server and fix our source code
• Log feature requests for possible future development

We will not:

• Install hwdMediaShare
• Fix problems that result from conflicts with:
  • Other third party components
  • Badly coded hacks
  • Badly coded templates
• Install FFMPEG, MENCODER, FLVTOOL or any other server software

Third Party Plugins

We create third party plugins so you can use hwdMediaShare with media content from external websites. Third party websites develop frameworks to allow software to use and interact with thier content. Our plugins are designed to use these frameworks and comply with any applicable terms of service. If third party providers change their websites, our plugins might stop working until we have updated them. Additionally, third party websites might choose to withdraw their services and prevent access to their content. Under these situations the plugin for that website will be removed.

Accuracy & Product Information

Highwood Design does not guarantee that the information presented in our documentation or forum will be accurate. This is particularly true for the instructions on installing the video conversion software (FFMPEG & MENCODER) onto web servers. The instructions are generic and therefore, some of you will probably experience problems relating to specific server distributions. We will try to assist you with problems however, there might not be any solutions. If you have limited experience of server management you might find it very difficult to install the required third party software yourself.

Refund Policy

Our core components are released free of charge so users can install and test the extensions for suitability before subscribing. You are responsible for undertaking all reasonable steps to ensure our extensions will meet your specific requirements prior to subscription either by, but limited to, using the free editions, reading discussions on the hwdMediaShare forums or contacting us directly via the "Helpdesk" mechanism of the hwdMediaShare site.

• Access Only Subscription Plans
  Since we are offering non-tangible goods, which are released under open licenses, we do not issue refunds for this type of plan.

• Access and Support Subscription Plans
  If you’re not satisfied, for any reason, you may request a refund within 7 days of payment. You will then be downgraded to a Access Only Subscription Plan and be refunded the difference in price between the plans.
  

If no refund is requested within 7 days you are bound to the full term of the Subscription Plan and under no circumstnaces will a refund be issued.
