We have decided to split the hwdVideoShare into two main releases. One for Joomla1.0 and one for Joomla1.5.  The Joomla1.5 version is not completely native yet however, now that we have a separate release we expect this to happen fairly quickly! The installation has already been modified so that the component installes without legacy support however, there are still functions used throughout the code that require the legacy plugin enabled. These functions will be systematically removed until the component is completely native.

The decision to split was taken when it become apparent that having a single package was holding back the development of the software. When new features are developed they will be added into both versions however, the coding structure of the two packages is expected to change significantly as we utilies the new framework of Joomla1.5.
