Subscribing members can download the first pre-release of hwdMediaShare-0.0.1 for Joomla 1.0. This package contains the next version of hwdVideoShare and also the first ever release of hwdRevenueManager. This is a pre-release and contains known bugs. It is not currently classified as stable and has no compatible modules or plugins. If stability is important to you, wait until a stable release is published. You should use the current version of hwdVideoShare until then. Download the package here:

YouTube Patch for hwdVideoShare |

Due to a recent change in the YouTube source code you might find that the Title, Description and Keywords are not found when adding YouTube videos. Highwood Design has released a patch to temporarily fix this problem before the next release is published. There are two separate patches, one for Joomla 1.0 and one for Joomla 1.5, please check you download the correct patch file. The patches are freely availble in the support category of our download section.

Important news regarding the new release |

Highwood Design is due to release a new version of hwdVideoShare now. Normally we are very prompt with new releases but this particular release is unfortunately running over. The main reason for this overrun is the large amount of re-coding that has occured since our previous publication.The entire structure has changed to accomodate a new templating system. We are very close to finishing and do hope to publish a testing release over the next few days. Initially, we will only reommend you test this new release on non-production websites (in testing environments). This is due to the amount of change to the code. There may be a few major bugs that we miss during the current testing period. Any major bugs should be quickly identified and fixed in a follow-up release a few days later. If you are using a production website we would recommend you wait until this follow-up release is published. Highwood Design is very sorry for this delay to the new release. We know users are eagerly awaiting this and we want it to perform to the high-level you should expect. |

All our Joomla 1.0 modules have been updated. They include new options and allow you to select static, carousel, mosaic and collage display styles. You can currently only display one carousel style on any single page. We will work to remove this restriction and release updates soon. In the meantime you can use one of the other new formats. |
